"A  classic. Abbott and Costello managed to breath new life into the old Universal horror monsters, introducing them
to a whole new generation in the fifties. Without this film (and the one they made with the mummy) the horror  genre
in  American film may have quietly faded into obscurity. Instead we got horror hosts on television showing old horror
films and all those great 1950s horror films from William Castle and other producers."
